This craft beer has a crisp, refreshing taste with an aroma that evokes the refreshing essence of white grapes and grapefruit. On the palate, it delivers a lively, firm acidity that awakens the senses.
This craft is based on the exceptional Nishinohoshi malt, produced in Usa City of Oita Prefecture. The unique blend of sour malt and barley malt creates a wort with lactic acid and citric acid, while the saccharification temperature is kept low to express a crispness reminiscent of dry white wine. Philly Sour, a remarkable yeast that produces lactic acid during fermentation, was used to create the acidity we were looking for. Then, we added New England, with its tropical flavor, to enhance the aroma and crispness. We dry-hopped with Nelson Sauvin hops from New Zealand. This special hop brings a unique and captivating white grape aroma reminiscent of sparkling wine with a hint of grapefruit.
