This craft beer boasts a bold aroma of roasted coffee, bitter chocolate, and barley, followed by a smooth, rich flavor and a long, lingering finish.
This beer is made with Nishinohoshi malt from Usa, Oita Prefecture, as the base. It is combined with wheat malt for a smooth mouthfeel and three types of dark malt with different color tones.
The rich aroma of “Usa Blend,” an original blend of coffee beans from the “Kimame Coffee” shop in Usa City, is infused into the wort through precise adjustments in the grinding method of the beans, coffee extraction temperature, and extraction time.
Cascade hops are the only ones used, and the recipe is tailored to showcase the pleasant coffee aroma that fills the air when the bag is opened.
Yeast: “BRY-97” is the key to bringing out the characteristics of the raw materials.
